International conference in Thailand in November 2016

MFUIC, started in 2012, is a biennial international conference arranged by Mae Fah Luang University, Thailand in order to bring together distinguished researchers in diverse fields from around the world.

MFUIC2016, our 3th Biennial meeting, is aimed at providing a leading forum for the presentation of new advances and research results in the fields of Medical and Health Sciences. This year conference will be in collaboration with the a Kaleidoscope of Traditional and Complementary Medicines International Conference (KTCM2016). A series of interesting Plenary and Theme lectures has been specially planned for participants.

ISID Infectious Diseases Travel Fellowship and Grants on Trialect

We have a posting on Trialect soliciting applications for ISID Infectious Diseases Travel Fellowship and Grants Program. 1. The Small Grants Program is designed to fund pilot research projects by young investigators. 2. The ISID Scientific Exchange Fellowship Program is designed to promote collaboration among researchers in different countries by enabling infectious disease researchers in the formative stage of their career to extend their research experience in institutions outside of their region. Funding will be provided for up to 3 months and up to US$7,500. 3. ISID and the Swiss Society for Infectious Diseases Fellowship Program is to support infectious disease physicians and scientists through multidisciplinary clinical and laboratory training at select biomedical institutions in Switzerland. We have a posting on Trialect soliciting applications for World Bank Scholarships for Masters in Public Health and other programs at Harvard (USA), Johns Hopkins (USA), and other World Bank “Preferred” and “Partner” health institutes in the UK, The Netherlands, Belgium, and Japan. To date, the Program has awarded over 5000 scholarships. The Alliance, UNICEF and GAVI are soliciting letters of intent for research that seeks to enable the effective implementation of existing immunization programmes or services within health systems in eligible countries (see call for full details). Research funded under this call is expected to focus on the generation of new strategies and knowledge to support this aim. Decision-makers of immunization programmes and services are the main target audience of this call and are invited to submit letters of intent in collaboration with researchers.​

Fondation Mérieux Grants for Infectious Diseases Research on Trialect

Fondation Mérieux’s grants programme contributes towards financing projects that aim to improve the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases in developing countries. Fondation Mérieux’s grants programme is open to the projects of private individuals, organizations or associations, provided that they are long-term and incorporate local health. Up to ten projects will be selected. Last year, projects based in Vietnam, Nepal, Burkina Faso, Congo, Equatorial Guinea, and other countries were funded.
